Reimbursement for Fringes - Grants
When city employees spend time working on a federal or state grant, part of their benefits cost (health insurance, retirement, etc.) can be charged to that grant. This is that money coming back to the city.
This plunged to $50,000 this year, about 92% less than the $650,000 it was in FY2025. Put another way: back in FY2017 this made up about 2.0% of Non-Recurring Revenue - today it's 7.5%, a bigger slice than before.
