Less: Reserve for Abatements
The city sets aside some money every year expecting that a number of homeowners will successfully challenge their property tax bill and get a refund. This line is that set-aside, subtracted up front so the city doesn't over-collect.
The size of this charge stayed exactly flat this year at $950,000, same as FY2025.
